Yes, you are free to choose the provider of your choice. We ask that you let us know when booking.
Yes. Please note that in order to be eligible for a Medicare refund, a valid referral is required. Generally, referrals from general practitioners are valid for 12 months, and those from specialists/physicians are valid for 3 months only. If a referral is not current, Medicare will pay only a small proportion of the Medicare rebate.
If you have a heart test or see one of Cardiologists, then Medicare will provide you with a rebate for this.
If you are an inpatient or require a procedure, then your private health insurance will contribute to this.

Perth Cardio is a private billing practice and requires full payment on the day of service. Our fees are higher than the Medicare rebate, but less than those recommended by the Australian Medical Association. You may be eligible for a concession to the full fee. Please speak with one of our friendly staff when booking.
Medicare provides a rebate for the majority of our heart tests and consultations with your Cardiologist. We can submit the claim to Medicare on your behalf via Medicare online claiming. For more information on this visit http://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/enablers/online-services/register
